Hi Michael- Thanks for taking the time to give us so many nice radios to drool over-er, uh, enjoy looking at! I have been an avid collector of radios-tube and transistor for over twenty five years. Lately I've gotten interested in transistor radios again. I sold off some really great radios about fifteen years ago due to an illness, including a Sony TR-55, that I may never be able to replace! I'm greatly encouraged to find these great pieces of history are still out there. I've bid on a few radios on e-bay, but I don't like the cut-throat style of buying, and usually resort to the many good, honest and fair radio dealers I've found. I'm especially fond of your Candle TR-2, a radio I owned as a boy! Thanks again for your efforts and devotion to the hobby! Sincerely -Don

Hi Don Thanks for the reply. Collecting and preserving these radios is very rewarding, fun and educational. I really enjoy posting them on Flickr so everyone can see them. Wow, you had a TR-55?! Where did you find it? It may be very difficult to find another although not impossible. I managed to pick up a TR-5 (re-designed TR-55) last year. More of them seem to pop up in Canada as GENDIS did import a small quantity.
