James nice try on the radio. But I did ask this question from the seller. There seems to be a part missing from the top of the radio - a dial or switch. You can see it on Sarah's radio but on this one on ebay it seems to be missing. There is just a space in the cabinet.

Does anyone know what that switch is since it does not exist on the Raytheons

Ah yes, a nice radio indeed! I wasn't to displeased on missing out though as I managed to pick up a nice Raytheon 8TP1 and a Crown TR-620! Hey Steve I hear your collection is even more impressive in person! :)

Thanks for the link to those shelves Steve. I had been trying to find them online for the past two weeks with no luck! I think I might get a few.
James, you're going to have to make a trip up to Canada someday.....lots of radios waiting to be found up here.

Hey guys, I would love to make the trip to Canada some day and view your collections first hand! See now those glass units would look great in our house but my wife just wont go for it. My collection already takes up one whole wall of the office from top to bottom. The problem is my radios get dusty but those glass doors would solve the problem!

A little dust still gets in but its pretty good. One thing that is needed with the cases is a way to shelve the radios further on each self so they stack up. I will have to make some pexiglass stair type shelves for inside the cases. Then it will look really nice with some outside lighting.

It is a really nice display vehicle that is cheap but you have to restarin yourself from packing in too many radios
